Our Silver Rod Electrode has been designed to fit our Electrode Ring for different sized beakers. Silver electrodes are used with Silver Tank Plating Solution – HS.

Silver Rod Electrodes are available in two different diameters: 6 mm and 8 mm.

8mm electrodes are recommended where the solution is going to be heavily loaded or used continually.
They also put less oxidative stress on the solution and offer a cost saving due to less wastage.

One of our Electrode Rings fitted with six of our Silver Electrodes for 1 Litre Beaker. The silver electrodes are made of pure silver, enabling them to replenish the silver in the Silver Tank Plating Solution – HS while plating is taking place. This means the silver plating solution lasts longer and doesn’t have to be replaced so frequently. The electrodes can be used in configurations of 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 depending on the size of beaker ring and the number of electrodes you wish to use.
